Wizard Score App is a web application used to track scores for the trick-taking card game Wizard.
Yes, the Wizard Score App is only used to track the score in your Wizard game. It is a complimentary app and you will still need to own a set of Wizard cards to be able to play.
The app is built as a website so it is available on any device that can run a web browser. Just visit on the device of your choice and start playing!
During beta the Wizard Score App will be free to use. The single player scoresheet will always be free to use while new features like multiplayer may come with a cost associated in the future.
Wizard Score App currently runs completely in your browser without any communication to a server so all past games are saved as local data on the device you originally used. If you are missing your past games, you may have reset your data, or are using a different device.
Wizard Score was made because I needed it for myself. I couldn't find a good app for keeping track of scores in the Wizard card game, so I decided to just make one. It kind of worked but was still pretty buggy and not finished, but I threw it online anyway.
After leaving it alone for a bit, I checked on it and saw that people actually found and started using the buggy mess I left.
That showed me other folks were looking for something like it too, so I got back into working on it.
